Electrastar can now supply and install the new SMART Board SBD600 series which allows two people to work on SMART Notebook software files simultaneously, using their fingers or a pen.

With the press of one button in the SMART Notebook toolbar creates two separate workspaces on the board.

The SBD600 takes innovation and collaboration to new levels, enhancing both teamwork and individual instruction and the SBD600 gives more students access to the interactive whiteboard.

The dual-touch capabilites bring increased teamwork to your classroom. Whether you're dissecting a math problem or a virtual frog, you can get students up at the board working and thinking together. With a floating toolbar in each separate workspace, the SBD600 enables two students to work on the same lesson activity, using their own tools or a pen.

Features

Dual-user mode
Two students can work simultaneously on the interactive whiteboard. Its dual-write capabilities enable two users to write notes in their own separate workspace in SMART Notebook software. And with dual-touch, two students can move, rotate and scale the size of objects to complete assignments or quizzes. Teachers can easily switch between single- and dual-user mode by pressing one button in the SMART Notebook toolbar.

Intuitive interface
The SBD600 interactive whiteboard has the same intuitive interface as the SMART Board 600 series.

SMART Pen Tray
Pick up a pen or the eraser, and the pen tray automatically detects which tool you've selected. Buttons on the pen tray activate the On-Screen Keyboard, right-click and help function.

Digital ink
Write over applications, websites and videos in digital ink.

Durable hardware
The hard-coated polyester surface is tear-proof, optimized for projection, compatible with dry-erase markers and easily cleaned with whiteboard cleaner, or disinfected with a diluted bleach solution.
