Electrastar are currently running an Easter promotional offer exclusively to Schools. Although this example is specific to Hull Schools, similar discounts are available to any UK based school.

Electrastar have identified NEC Display solutions as their preferred supplier of display solutions such as projectors and public display screens. The new partnership was decided upon by a good combination of price, product, quality performance, delivery and after sales service. Whilst Electrastar actively supply and install any manufacturers products, NEC will remain now as the preferred manufacturer where there are no specific client driven requirements.

This is a follow up story to the article printed in the October Newsletter entitled "Fibre To The Home Planned". The article outlined BT's plans to roll out its fibre optic broadband technology to commercial customers. The Conservative party have now vowed to deliver a super-fast broadband network to UK homes by 2017 according to the BBC.

Whilst the British economy is now officially out of recession, according to the CBI, it will take years to recover. They also warn that it will take until 2012 to get back to where it was before the financial crisis.

The cost of a single day of employee absenteeism because of the freezing winter conditions could be at least £230 million according to The Forum of Private Business (FPB). The Federation of Small Businesses estimates the bad weather as costing the economy at least £600m a day and The Centre for Economic and Business Research says it is as high as £900m a day.
